Mom’s A Stewardess Book Launch

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers! And a blessed and holy one too. Today is Mother’s Day and we express our gratitude to the women who have been so generous and responsible throughout our lives — our mothers.

It is fitting that today is Pentecost Sunday. As mothers, we know that all that we accomplish, we cannot do or accomplish alone. We need guidance and strength from the Holy Spirit, from the Lord. It takes more than a village to raise a child. It takes hope, faith, and love.

It is on this occasion that I also invite you to the launch of the book: Mom’s a Stewardess (Or Why There is No Vacation from Your Vocation) — Stories of Stewardship. This is published by Claretian Publications and written by Angelica B. Viloria. The launch will be on July 9, 2008 from 3 to 4pm, at the Hope Center Conference Hall. Hope Center is located at the Aurora Milestone Tower, 1045 Aurora Blvd., Loyola Heights, Quezon City. If you or anyone you know would be interested to attend the book launch, you can leave a comment here. Please let me know on or before June 7, 2008.

Any time is a perfect time to honor our mothers. As a mother, I have enjoyed parenting immensely and see it as one of the greatest blessings and gifts that I have received from the Lord. Through my book, I honor mothers everywhere. I hope that when the book is out in bookstores, you will get a copy to either give to your mother or to read yourself so that you will appreciate your mother or your wife (the mother of your children) better.

Happy Mother’s Day to mothers wherever they may be. May the good Lord bless you for all that you have done for us, your children.
