Lorna Gay Lopez is the blogger behind TheBachelorGirl.com. She is also an events organizer and a show buyer.
If you go visit her blog, you will see that Lorna writes about a wide range of unrelated topics. She writes about theater, movies, and events; fashion and beauty; life in Cubao; consumer issues and incidents, both positive and negative; and health, among other topics. Recently, she has also started to write Filipino or Tagalog posts, every now and then. I visited her blog one time and I was amazed at how she could easily write about Cinderella in theater and then also convey her joy at watching the latest Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz starrer within a few days of each other.
Sometime in August, Lorna invited our family to watch Mulan staged by Repertory Philippines. I was so happy to hear that she had also invited some orphans to watch the show through Hands On Manila. I will also always be grateful to Lorna as during the show that she bought, she also allowed me to raffle off three copies of my book Mom’s A Stewardess to the audience so that more people could read it and hear about it. So, thanks a lot again Lorna!
